Binance Set to Introduce Education Initiative to Encourage Public Understanding of Blockchain

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced plans to launch an educational platform to reach the next generation of blockchain developers. Soon, Binance will be offering more than just their exchange services to buy cryptocurrency. The initiative is being called a ‘blockchain academy’.

Most of the information and educational tools related to blockchain can be found on the internet. There are currently few courses in blockchain technology which this platform is hoping to address to create a one-stop shop, providing educational articles and videos. The academy will provide fundamental and advanced information regarding different topics within blockchain such as security best practices and how the underlying technology powers the digital currency. Many know how to buy Bitcoin but know little about the technology behind it.

CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao made a statement on their latest contribution to the industry with this new initiative: “Binance Academy’s mission is to proliferate the knowledge about the power of blockchain and cryptocurrencies by offering comprehensive and easily accessible educational content to onboard the world, one video view and one article read at a time”. Binance is seeking to make this platform as accessible as buying crypto itself.
Binance’s latest endeavour shows their commitment to blockchain technology leading the way to become a global hub for any blockchain and digital currency projects, initiatives, collaborations as well as other related services or products. The platform is accessible for both those who produce content and use it. Users can inquire about new topics they would like to discuss whilst also submitting work for review.
